The short version: every tool on utilnook.com runs in your browser. Text you type, files you choose and results you create stay on your device. We have no accounts and set no cookies.

What you enter into the tools

The tools are JavaScript programs that run on your device. Nothing you type, paste or upload into them is sent to us or anyone else. Files are read by your browser and are never uploaded. When you close the tab, the data is gone.

Settings saved on your device

Some tools remember your choices, such as the indent size in the JSON formatter. These settings are kept in your browser's local storage, under names starting with utilnook:. They never leave your device. We never store what you enter, only the settings. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across sites. It records things like the page visited, the referring site, your browser type and your approximate country. We use these counts only to see which tools are useful.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not combine this with anything else and we do not sell any data.

Children

The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect any data about anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
