Online Video Editor

Cut, trim and join videos, then add text, music, effects and transitions. Export MP4, WebM or GIF in your browser, with nothing uploaded and no watermark.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded.

How to use

This editor cuts and joins videos, photos and music into one video, with text, effects and transitions, in your browser.

  1. Add videos, photos or music with the box above, and the editor opens with them on the timeline. Later files go into Media on the left.
  2. Click the timeline to move the playhead, and press Play. Press Split to cut at the playhead, drag a clip's ends to trim it, and drag clips to reorder them.
  3. The left rail adds Text, Stickers, Effects, Filters and Audio at the playhead, each on a track of its own, and Transitions between clips. Select anything to change it on the right: position, size and keyframes, speed and speed curves, animations, colour, masks, green screen, volume and voice effects. Drag pictures and text on the player to place them.
  4. Freeze holds the frame at the playhead, and Reverse plays a clip backwards. Under a clip's Audio, Cut out pauses removes the quiet between sentences, and Separate the sound gives its sound a track of its own. A clip can be split at its scene changes, and music can have its beats marked and be turned down under speech.
  5. Ratio sets the frame's shape, such as 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, and the guides show where those apps' buttons cover it. The camera button saves the frame as a picture.
  6. Press Export for an MP4, a WebM or a GIF.

Your browser's own video tools decode, draw and encode everything on this device, so nothing is uploaded and there's no watermark. The file is built in memory, so a very long or large video may need a smaller size, especially on a phone. The edit stays while the page is open.

Frequently asked questions

Are my videos uploaded?

No. Your browser reads, plays and exports them on this device, so they never leave it. Nothing is added to the video either: there's no watermark.

Which browsers can edit video here?

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, which have the WebCodecs video features the editor needs. Phones work well for short videos; long or 4K ones need a computer's memory.

Is my edit kept if I leave the page?

No. The edit lives in the page while it's open, so leaving or reloading starts again. The browser asks before you leave a page with clips on the timeline.
