Crop PDF
Crop PDF pages in your browser: drag a box or type margins, crop odd and even pages apart, or remove white margins in one go. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use
This tool crops the pages of a PDF, cutting off margins you don't want, in your browser.
- Add the PDF: drop it on the box or choose it. If it asks for a password, type it; it's only used here.
- Under Crop, choose Set the margins to say how much comes off each edge, or Remove white margins to crop every page close to what's printed on it.
- Under Pages, choose All pages, Odd and even apart for a book whose left and right pages have different margins, or Chosen pages, then click the pages below.
- To set the margins, type them in mm or inches, or drag across the large page to draw the box, then drag its edges and corners. The part that comes off is shaded. With odd and even pages apart, Margins of says which you're setting.
- To remove white margins, the tool looks at each page and keeps what's on it with a little Room around the content, which you can change.
- Press Save PDF and download it, named like report-cropped.pdf.
Cropping sets the size each page is shown at. Nothing is redrawn, so text stays sharp and can still be selected, and bookmarks and links keep working. What's cut off isn't deleted: it stays in the file, and any PDF editor can show it again. So don't use cropping to hide something private.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo a crop later?
Yes. The cut-off edges are still in the file, hidden. Any PDF editor that sets the crop box can show them again, and this tool can crop the page differently.
Why do scanned pages crop less closely?
A scan's paper is rarely pure white, and dust or a shadow at the edge counts as something on the page. Set the margins yourself to crop closer.
Does cropping make the file smaller?
No. The cut-off parts stay in the file, so its size hardly changes. To make it smaller, use the PDF compressor after cropping.
